Yeah - I know that is the normal approach, but I have 3 gains set up on different banks and it did it on all of them, also the servo feels a bit "crunchy" and heavy to turn, so I've stuck a spare DS525 on and I'll test that tomorrow.

Yup, anything is possible.

Might be a lot more friction in that old tail than thought, damping the system...maybe not. And don't forget the addition of the Lynx built-in "tennis racket" weights which kind of act as gain too. The new servo will tell...

Yeah - I was just thinking about it, so I've set up the Tail Gains so that I have Bank 3 the same, Bank 2 the same as Bank 1 was, and Bank 1 a few points lower - so I can see if the Servo or the Tail Gains make a difference

So after some more messing around woth gains (with minimal success) I decided that I needed to look at other ideas, so I built up a new tail rotor (luckily I have LOADS of M-P spares) and fitted that. Immediate transformation, all working great now.

I'll strip the Lynx tail down and see if I can work out what it causing the wag, but it certainly seems to be the culprit.

Me again

I was thinking that the M-P horizontal fin looked a bit big with the new Lynx slim-line tail fin, then I was looking through some of my X3 / X360 spares and spotted this X360 horizontal fin - much sleeker imho

Yeah, that does look better. BTW, I never liked the stock tail blades. The 62 or even 68mm plastic Lynx did a better job of holding with lower gain for me.
