Default Jeti USB adapter vs. Scorpion V Link II Cable

I already have a Jeti Telemetry USB Adapter which I have been told works with the Tribunus ESC's just as well as the Scorpion V Link II Cable. I just want to verify if this is correct information.

Digging up an old thread, did you try this or get confirmation?

I have the version 1 Vlink but not the version 2. I borrowed a Vlink II before I saw your post so have already set up my new Tribunus. But if it works with the Jeti adaptor then it would save me getting another USB.

Thanks very much for that, I guess you still use the Scorpion diode lead with it.

Nope, tried it without and everything seems to work fine.

Diode lead is neccessary to prevent damge to iether the ESC or your USB port. So please use it.

So is the USB to Serial port adapter for V-Link 2 and Jeti the same? I have both already, but ... are they interchangeable?

Thanks for the info, that's handy as I just bought a V-Link II cable for a second hand Tribunus 14-200A ESC, but I don't have the Jeti USB adaptor and had been thinking I should really get one of those too, so now I don't have too.
