Default Whats Happening Here

Hi All,

I have been away from this forum for nearly two years. Mainly family problems.

I have just started to get back into electric helis again. Got a few trex Aligns, and 4 x blade 130X`s.

I know they are not made any more, and spares are getting hard to find, but these where my favourite heli.

Whats has happened to all the post that was attached to this section. Is anyone still flying these, if not what has it been replaced with. Any good suppiers for spares. I have contacted Horizon driect asking if they have any spares hidden in a warehouse somewhere.

I am still building, flying and modifying 130Xs, as well as buying, selling and trading spares.

Glad to see another person on the forum!

So Sorry for the late reply back to you. We should all write to horizon and tell then to either start making spares again or bring back the whole model.

I have suggested doing so, or suggesting to Lucas at Lynx that what he needs is an "Oxy 1.5" and I have just the design.

FWIW, I have suggested the reissue of our favorite helicopter on the HH FB pages.

Default Still flying

I just wanted to chime in as well. These little units are awesome. I am a very poor pilot, but love how responsive they are when it is calm. I can fly them in my front yard. I have mine really toned down via the Tx but still love the way they dart around. Parts are an issue here as well. Keep persevering.

My lone 130X has moved up to the top of my favorites list because it can priouette faster than my others. I think it gets 720 degrees / second whereas the ncpx, mcpx and Blade 130S all seen limited to 540 degrees / second.

It flies really well.

im like fred I have been out of the game for 2 to 3 years now. Feel like im starting over with muscle memory but it is coming back. Ive been on the siim and flying the nqx and msr,s around the house. I have a 130x bought 5 or 6 years ago and flew the stew out of it. I love it so cant wait for it to start getting warmer and start working on 130x and my bigger helis and get out flying again.

It's been years since I put away my 130X because I thought the board was toast and still didn't seem to work after I had MegaMicros work on it. A fellow pilot flew a 130X at a club fly-in recently and inspired me to dig out mine and see if I could bind it to my new Horus TX (iRange Plus module). To my surprise, it bound and everything worked. After tweaking the TX settings, it became a very well behaved little bird again. The only thing that may require work is the tail servo. If it doesn't settle in well, I will likely opt for JonJet's DS76T tail servo mod.

The DS76T is the best tail servo.

Seeing that the 130X is no longer supported, what is the current indoor 130 size heli that everyone is using.

I already have a Nano CPS but i want something which handles like my Trex 450 Fly barless Heli, but for indoor use.
