Default vbar mini auxilary channel

I bought 2 of these mini vbars with pro software thinking they would be perfect for use in a few gas planes I like to fly at the field. im playing around with 'Vplane'. I found out after I bought them I don't have nearly as many setup possibilities as I had with the full size units.

I understand there is a possible way to unlock some kind of hidden auxiliary function from these mini units. possibly in the expert settings? I've been trying to make sense of what I can find on vstabi pages but not having much luck making sense of anything about it.

I would just like to run an optical kill switch on my models. but I cant find a way to install one to a switch like I do on my full size vbars.

any help would be appreciated

On a VBar Mini we have only 2 outputs. RXA center pin is Cell 2 (Elevator) signal, RXA lower pin is Cell 1 (Rudder)

On a VPlane Mini we have only 2 outputs. RXA center pin is Cell 1 (Elevator) signal, RXA lower pin is Cell 4 (Rudder)

Select the switch here https://www.vstabi.info/en/node/1798

Do not get confused with the "Rudder" in the name of the Aux1 as it is a channel actually with signal RXA lower pin, you would need to power the servo from another pos and neg source.

so what your saying to do is use a rudder or elevator signal pin from RXA (white Strand on my optikill)

so only one wire in that socket on center or bottom pin

pull the red and black strands from the optikill connector and tie those into another near by servo power lead.. or possibly y harness?

and configure that signal to work on a switch through the v control on the aux expert app

I'm not the brightest on this stuff, but that is what I understand from your statements. very easy to mess this stuff up if I put power where it cant go..

I wired it just as i interpreted. setup the channel on the aux app. And all went fantastic! I now have full control of that auxiliary by switch!

Thanks for the help!
