What is that?! Looks like GAUI manuals are getting even worse than before. Jeez they are really going backwards aren't they, that's so sad to me because I basically grew up on GAUI helis.

Been awhile since I built an oxy 3 Tareq edition. I believe the manual was a Pdf file download.

I'm a little disappointed to find out the nitro conversion is an additional cost.
They should have made both an electric kit and a nitro version.

I thought rc helicopters was supposed to evolve not devolved.
As i see it they did not bring anything new to the table.

This kit is actually very nice guys guys. So it has a plastic tail, no problem , been used for years. This also leaves room for upgrades. Out of the box a 6s 5000 mah 600 size heli for $500 doesnít sound to bad to me. For the nitro lovers like me you spend another $99 to get the upgrade kit. A no cutting required bolt in nitro kit for an electric heli.....sounds pretty good to me. Then for those wanting insane 12s power that upgrade is there too.

On top of all of that the parts fit. I have built it as a 6s electric and now as a nitro and it goes together very well. Is it perfect, no, itís a new model, a new design. There will be changes and upgrades no doubt. Some parts interchange with other models.

Happy to help anyone with any questions on this model! Though I havenít flown it yet (weather and work) I am excited to! Itís built and waiting!

Default NEX6 6S Heli

All I can say is wow!!! I built mine as a 6S heli. The 6S 5000 lipo tucked nicely inside the frame and the balance was right on the money. She is light and flies fantastic. A very locked in and predictable heli in the air. I was surprised at how axially it rolled too. I have been having fun sneaking in a couple flights a day with this little gem.

I am the recipient of one of those RCHO NEX6 helis. Built it last night minus electronics. Just ordered a 4025-1100kv for it (Presidents day sale). Hopefully flying by the end of the week.

The manual is not great for beginners at all. Having built many helis it wasn't a problem for me. I have a PDF.

FWIW I am pro-plastic when done properly. Its lighter and cheaper.

If I wanted a pretty bird I would get one of those blinged shrouded models that tend to be heavy. Don't get me wrong, I do want one of those too Need to sell some stuff 1st though.

So I went to fly my NEX6, and was finishing FBL and swash setup at the field, and I ran into an issue. Apparently other Gaui models use shims between the bearing block and the main/tail gear. My prior helis all used a clamping collar at the bearing block on the main shaft.

Luckily a friend at the field had some shims and I will put them in there tonight and hopefully get some pics here.

This "shimage" was not in the manual as far as I could find! This could impact a modelling experience for a novice.
