Default RF9 using wireless dongle heli setup?
Having a hard time setting up rf9 using my dx7 g2 transmitter, works fine if I use old elite transmitter, first question, do you set tx up as a helicopter or airplane? How is iu setup also? I'm using the orange dongle also not the spektrum 2000 one. Thanks in advance

First, verify that your DX7 gen2 transmitter is bound to the OrangeRX USB dongle.

finally got it to work correctly using heli 1 servo on tx to fly helicopters, dx7g2, have to use keyboard for some modes though.

Good you got it. I just use airplane mode on my DX9 (Only get 7 channels on sim). Usually though I just use the Interlink DX for RF9 and AccuRC as it's so much easier.

I did try setting up as a plane on tx which works with heli's on rf but i had to add expo or it was Twitchy as hell compared to setting up heli on TX, not sure why?

I've got a DX6 and Orange RX. I can't get it to do anything with Realflight but it worked fine with AccuRC. What did you do exactly to get it working?

Which RealFlight version? The OrangeRX will not work with RF 7.5 or below without a proprietary RF USB device.

Your DX6 and OrangeRX USB dongle should work on their own with both RF8 and RF9.

I'm new to RF9. I'm using the WS2000 rf dongle with a Dx8 Gen1. I have model set as heli in my Tx, 1 servo. Connects and flies fine, but I cannot figure how to configure Idle Up to my usual F-Mode switch. It is defaulted to the flap/gyro switch. Suggestions? Thanks!

I has been a long time since I used RealFlight, but as I best remember it, channel mapping setup (at least with Spektrum and Jeti radios) was a bit more intuitive when setting up the model on the radio as an airplane instead of helicopter.

Having trouble with WS2000 & DX9. I want to use a Heli setup in my DX9
Can't get flite modes or Hold I can bind it and fly airplanes. Using Win 10 and RF8. How did you get it to work ?
