Good info, thanks for the posts about this. I think I'll use my local university library card to print one of these or ask KC3D above to make some if possible

Default 3D Printed Hard Case For R-XSR

KC3D made mine. Turned out very nice. Better than what the Makerbot I had access to did. Super good price.

Check out his Horus X10/X10S stick protectors too. Better than the stock ones. Mine needed a little sanding to fit perfectly into my X10S, but it’s well worth it.

I replaced the foam below the receiver with electronics-safe adhesive that ALoft Hobbies sells.

The receiver doesn’t slide out anymore. It used to, only a few millimeters, but enough for the antenna connectors to be exposed.

There is actually less adhesive than my photo suggests. I just decided to pack the front end of it to eliminate any play vertically.

Would be better if the case was designed to physically hold the antennas in place rather than having them exposed. Also a version that doesn't have the 0.1" dupont pins would be nice. Personally I prefer to just crimp a servo connector onto a picoblade pigtail.

FYI you can get the yellow glue Frsky uses for fixing their antennas look for either Kafuter K-1668 or "Motive RC antenna fixing glue". The Motive RC stuff is darker yellow than the Frsky glue but has a bit better adhesion (it still easily peels off with acetone and tweezers). Recently the Taranis X9 Lite seems to use the same darker glue internally as the Motive RC stuff however.
