Default motor for 380(buddy) size machine

hi looking at changing out a noisy pyro in my buddy

looking at the following choices
2820 920kv
3215 tareq 945v2
and now I see there is a 3220 950

I fly the machine aggressive and banging sticks around.. concerned on power and also how much does the flight time change between the 2820 to the3215 or 3220 sizes?

I want some more power over my pyro but hopefully decent flight time

Same motor in my Oxy 4 Max. Replaced an Xnova Tareq. It never disappoints.

Hi guys,

I installed the Lightning 3220-950Kv motor in my Goblin Buddy...man, what a beast! This thing has more power than I'll ever need and lots of efficiency behind it. I usually fly around 2700 RPM on the Buddy (low RPM setup) and can fly for about 6-7 minutes of smooth flying with this motor and an 1800mAH battery.

You absolutely cannot go wrong with the 3220-950!

Not sure why Egodrift team pilots reply to a question in the Xnova forum trying to get market share. 3220-950 Xnova is the way to go if you ask me, not only they have an original design, you're guaranteed to have support from day one.

Bert, what pinion with this motor?

I see this motor is a little heavier then the tareq v2...any concern or this is definitely the one to go with?

Iím bogging the pyro , need some more power

People are free to answer questions where they want.. that’s the good thing about a forum.
I have a Egodrift to, so I’m not allowed by you to write or answers questions in here??

Bert
Responded to the post before I saw that it was on the Xnova motor support section. My mistake and apologies if I have offended anyone.
In answer to your comment, I am not a factory pilot and I am not paid to express my opinion on any products. I have the freedom of choice here with models, motors and escs.
I started with a Goblin 380 soon after they first came out, running a small Scorpion motor. This was changed to the Xnova 890 and then 930. I bought the Goblin 420 spares to convert my G380 to a G420 and was happily flying the 420 before the kits were available in the U.K. A couple of years back, I fitted the Egodrift 960 to the G380 and retired the G420. Very happy with the G380 running a Kolibri esc and Egodrift motor.
My flying style is big air, and I have recently purchased a Goblin Buddy, Kolibri 60 esc, Egodrift 900 motor and gdw servos. The buddy is built, but waiting on the servo delivery from China to complete. Think I will be blown away by this model when I get it flying.
So apologies for responding to a post before realising it was under a support section. The opinion I expressed is mine, and not paid for by any specific brand. Just sharing my experiences in a great hobby.
