Ben shared a video of Matt Botos "Borientation" training/warm-up practice. Here it is. I didn't do the piro hover he also recommended, it's already a relatively lengthy video.

Heli-X beta v9 - Training based on Matt Botos "Borientation" video (10 min 6 sec)

And here is Matt Botos' video:

Orientation Practice - "Borientation" with Matt Botos (5 min 42 sec)

Keep practicing the Borientation Challenge. It is really hard. So hard I crashed about 90% complete will keep on hammering at this, really good practice.

Heli-X v9 beta - Botorientation Challenge - 90% crashed in the end (11 min 37 sec)

Thanks for videos. It seems like I never get beyond practicing orientation circuits.
It is nice to see that even Matt B can fluff his circuits at times.

That flying field, Virngrund Nueler, I don't remember trying it before. I think its one of my favourites now.

These are definitely the building blocks of heli flying. If you keep practicing it seems boring and tedious and repetitive but when you jump to more difficult maneuvers it will be easier.

Well boring to one, is not boring to another. I enjoy hovering in all orientations and slow circuits every which way putting the heli exactly where I want it making it look smooth and effortless. Spice it up with transitions mid turns and sideways stuff. Easily as fun, engaging and exciting as 3D stick banging.
