Finishing trim and touches on the 450X. Head speed seems crazy high, non programmable ESC so it seems...

Very light heli compared to Trex. Blown around a bit at altitude. Not bad for $50. ☺️

Finished updating my Lynx 450x with 2mm frame sides, custom made.

Flies really steady now, with very little if any loss in performance. I think it'll survive a crash better. The old 1mm sides broke regularly after a mishap.

Replacing servo gears on my 450L right side. Clipped a big lilac bush in the back yard.

Stuck Align 360mm blades on my Trex 450SE V2. Wow, main blades get awful close to the tail blades. Flies well, though.

Fixed my Xl380 after a crash ,replaced one servo and 2 servo arm, mainshaft and belt( it snapped). Was running 420 blades as my Xl is stretched ,but crashing causes more damage then 380 blades.Using Tarot 380 blades, they match the canopy color and feel better than the Align 380 blades inflight.

Busy Saturday! Did a routine check-up on my Oxy 3, added edge guards to the frame of the Black Thunder, and started painting a polycarbonate body for my wifes ECX Ruckus.

Started a new build on a Goblin Black Thunder T.
Frames on this thing are super thin!
I wanna keep it as light as possible but I like the HW 200. Why doesn't HW make a 160? Maybe a 130 would be ok?

Their largest ESC used to be a 160-Amp but they phased it out when the 200-Amp model released.

Enjoy your build! I have often thought about adding a Thunder T to my fleet.

Fine tuning a 450 Pro, odd mesh or umb. gear ringing sound. Maybe TT bearings or OWB.

Repairing my Diabolo 700 that I smacked inverted into Mother Earth today! Apparently the sound of the crash could be heard from quite a ways. Thankfully looks to be only shaft, spindle, main blades and boom. Frames, tail and lipos came out unscathed but the grips may well be write offs.

I thought the manual setup chart listed the 130a v4 HW. I believe Kyle Stacey used to run a 130 as well. Used 160a Hobbywing’s pop up in the classifieds also
