They (Bondhus) make some of the best ball drivers you can buy, in my experience. I have a set that is over 10 years old that I have used on my vehicles, RC stuff, ski/snowboard equipment, in snow and ice and mud and oil and grease and gunk and they've never rounded, broken or rusted, not even the 1.27mm driver.

I used channel lock pliers on my Bondhus 2.5mm driver for extra torque when I mounted my ski rack and still didn't round or break it.

I can't speak for the MIP stuff but I have been using Bondhus for a long time and have never had a reason to use anything else.

That's pretty cool about NASA and Intel using Bondhus. That doesn't surprise me in the least

I've sent in an email and filled out a contact form with Innov8tive design and so far have had no response. Not exactly what I was hoping for with this brand. Overall, disappointed with the whole deal .

Just did the exact same thing with a 1.5mm Dynamite hex driver. And in the exact same place, the grub screw on a tail rotor hub. Going to order the MIP driver set from AMain on monday.

Just bought a set of MIP nut drivers which I believe are recently launched. Originally got a set of Losi's which are no longer manufactured. Couldn't resist picking up the MIP's to go along with my MIP hex drivers. They also included a 5.0mm nut driver which the Losi's are missing.

I bought a set of the Bondhus ones referenced above and they are great except that the handles on the smaller ones get a bit too small. I really like the larger ones and find that now I combine my Align drivers for the smaller sizes with the Bondhus ones for the larger sizes.
nheather likes this.

I can't say enough good things about MIP. They were a little pricey compared to the crap at harbor freight but after getting them I can't believe I didn't get them sooner. The tips are very sharp and they can bite into stripped hex screws. The long tips are great for reaching into tight spots which as saved me many times from disassembling more than necessary.

If you get MIP hex drivers protect the tips. I keep them in a separate space then the rest of my tool box.

I have used protek and align and I always strip the screw that holds the bits in place. This time I ordered some cheap Chinese T handle ones off eBay. For the 1.5, 2, 2.5, and 3 was like 6$ with shipping but will take a couple weeks to come in. I’ll report back after I use them on my next build

I was about to pull the trigger on them till I saw a 25$ charge for shipping to Canada.

I like bling but...

Available on ebay.co.uk and amazon.co.uk. I'm sure you'll find them on your local sites.

Before Christmas I bought a set of the Scorpion drivers. They are fantastic in my opinion.

When I got into the hobby, I bought a set of Hobby King hex drivers. They're soft and round out in short time. I later bought a set from Align and they're holding up very well.

Buy MIP hex drivers and you will probably never have to buy another set.

I bought the align set. Comes with 5 bits and a solid metal handle with a positive lock to hold the various sized tips. 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 and 3 plus a solid phillips tip as well. This seems to fit the 1.5 socket-head screws absolutely snugly. I usually insert the 1.5 into the screw head and use the whole driver to position the screw when in tight places (say when tightening the feathering shaft screws where the second one is a bit tight to get everything in there followed by the screw.

MIP baby!!!
This is my grab and go kit. It spends most of the time in the car. I have the actual driver set that stays on my bench. I have a few random scorpion drivers also but nothing compared.
