RF8 fusion 480
anybody using the RF8 sim for the fusion 480.
The reason i am asking is what to adjust to make fly like the real fusion 480. i have been making lots of adjustments , it still not flying like the real 480. |

To a certain extent it would depend on;
a) How you setup your Fusion 480 (motor, esc, pinion, battery, servos and fbl controller) b) What head speeds are your running on your Fusion 480 c) Location aka Density Altitude d) Your tx settings The RF8 model aims to be more of a middle ground model, some pilots prefer high head speed hardcore 3d and others prefer super soft easy flying. As you can see it would be pretty much impossible to setup one perfect model for everyone. I have argued for 2-3 variations of each model in the past years however you can see who has won that argument If you have some specific complaints on the RF8 Fusion 480 I can try to help out but I would need some additional information to do so. It's pretty easy to change everything in RF8 including details of the physics. I made a 530mm stretch version I like that is more floaty than the original. It's all in knowing what you want like Brian said. It's nice to try things out on the sim before real life. I'm doing that with my Fusion 270's.
Perhaps if you state what you are looking for we can put a variant on the KE swap pages for you. |

I posted an AV on the swap pages that has an extended boom and 530mm main blades. Give it a try.
