Post Is it okay to store LiPo charged for 8-9hrs!

Are there any safety issues in keeping the LiPo charged(4.2v) for 8-9 hours?.. or should we just charge and quickly use it!

Thanks.

I typically charge the night before the event...

Then sleep - drive - fly

You can leave it charged for a couple days no problem.

The real issue is a fully charged battery is more dangerous than one at storage charge.

Yes.. I have left lipos charged for up to a week on accident, i normally don't like them to be, when charged they have higher voltage and more power in them.

i like to charge the night before i go to fly i start charging around 7pm the night before a event, sometimes i might not fly that battery until night time the next day there fine like that. I even sometimes have some charged from Thursday night up till Sunday. if at a event but at home i try not to keep it charged over 24 hours.
Everyone is different. I know guys who refuse to charge at home and only charge while at the field.
I keep my lipos in lipo saks to just be a lil more safe.
