Align MiniGRS

Does the Align miniGRS require a satellite receiver or not?

Want to use it on my t-rex 450L with Spektrum DX8 transmitter. I know that the Align miniGRS can be used without receiver but the question is whether it requires a minimun of a satellite or can even that be omitted?

I would like to know this.
It has two antenna so they must be for something?

Is it like the 3GX MRS that can be used with Futaba or Spektrum in stand alone form ?
On the top it states A bus /S FHSS/Dsm2/DSMX which are Futaba and Spektrum.

In the case of A Bus that seems to be for the Align Mini A.Bus receiver that comes with the Align 300X, that plugs into the what seems a SBUS port on the side of the MiniGRS.

I should ask does the team think the MiniGRS is any good?

The MiniGrs works fine with Futaba just bind the MiniGrs to the Futaba transmitter and fly (well go through the setup process as stated in the manual).
