Help with ikon reversed ch

So I originally setup the ikon with the channels that needed reversing done in the radio and everything worked as should but then I realized that in the ikon software it says not to do that and reverse the channels in the software so that’s what I did.

So now all the channels work as should except now even though everything else is setup correctly when I tilt the heli in any direction the swash is correcting in the opposite direction hence if I tilt forward the swash also tilts forward and so on for left -right.

So what’s going on here and should I just reverse them in the radio?

You do it in both.

First you reverse them in the transmitter so that in the transmitter panel you get the correct deflections there. Ignore and actual servo movements during this stage.

After that never touch transmitter reverse.

Second, you reverse the servo directions on the servo setup and tail pages, not in your transmitter. The bit you were reading in the manual means you should NOT go back and mess with transmitter channels.

Of course you’ll need to make 100% sure that you selected the correct orientation for your ikon, the correct swash layout, and the correct servos are plugged in to the correct ports. If any of those are messed up, or any of the steps prior to that, then you’ll get incorrect swash behavior.

Ok I went back and changed it to what I had reversed ch 2-3 now it’s working again. Thanks once again I guess I just didn’t understand what I read and actually had it right the first time.
