Default Spartan Quark question...

Hello all. Just a quick one. When doing the first time, setup programming on the Spartan Quark gyro, do I do that in rate mode or AVCS (heading hold) mode or does it matter?

Thanks

It's been a while since I've done it, but I don't think it matters.

Either way, each time I've just followed this excellent setup video and it's worked beautifully.

Thank you much. I got her all setup and ready to go last night. Will be trying it out later this evening. One of the EASIEST gyros I’ve ever setup! The guys over on the Quark website did send me this, so I set it up in rate mode, and now, power up in AVCS mode. Can’t wait to try it out! Such a tiny little thing in my Raptor 30V2. I’ve read it does a fantastic job in any size heli so if it does, I’ll be getting another one for my Vibe 90SG.
Thanks again!

Glad you've managed to get it set up - hope all goes well on the maiden with it.
I've only one Quark on my B400, but I bought it because all my research seemed to indicate the Quark is the best tail gyro out there. I imagine you'll love it
