Default KST MS725 cyclic servos?

Anyone have experience with these cheap full-sized cyclic servos from KST? They're $70 each.

https://alofthobbies.com/kst-ms725-servo.html

Here are the specs:

I compared them to the top-of-the-line KST cyclic servo, the X20-2208, and the specs aren't far off, just less torque.

Thanks! That's all the recommendation I need. Adding these to the when-I-have-money list.

if you have an acc with aloft and are logged in, their usually cheaper, unless the price went up.. helidirect had the 815's as a package deal.. basically the same servo.

I do have an account but it still remains $70 when I'm logged in. Must have raised prices. Thanks for the HeliDirect recommendation

Well, a kilogram is bigger than a centimeter, so the centimeters cancels out. It’s just good science.

I have DS725MG's in Logo 550SX and verrrry happy with them after like 3 years and several crashes. These are $10 less - if you aren't determined to get the Hall effect sensors...

Any issues with the stock plastic arms on the MS725, Keith & Tony? I see AloftHobbies sells some pretty metal ones that I know will make me a better pilot.

They're a bit flexible, but they work. As long as you have a nut on the back of the servo ball.

I generally prefer Mikado arms for any servo with a Futaba 25T spline (all KST mini and fullsize).

Those are coreless with hall sensors, not brushless btw. The BLS815 is similarly priced and has a brushless motor and pots.

No they are not the same. The BLS815 is brushless with pots, the MS725 is coreless with hall effect sensors.

EDIT An d as someone already posted the DS725 is coreless with pots. There is also an MS815 that is brushless with hall effect sensors but nobody in the US seems to carry it yet. It's priced around $80 iirc.

Potato, tomato... same thing.. I miss-read.. I thought it was the ds725, not ms725.. I have the ds725’s.. I don’t need the fancy stuff.
All I know is the ds725 is quiet, I think the other ones are a little noisy.. I do have a set of 815’s and their a little more noisy than the quiet 725’s.

I’ve used sea craft and SAB, xl power metal ones.. all seem good.
