![]() What do you guys like about Synergy models?
One of the things I love is they don't laser etch parts to make their models look like flying NASCAR advertisements. Besides their beautiful blade grips and overall design aesthetics, the subtlety is very attractive to me. The 696 canopy is hands-down a work of art. The shape is just perfect IMO. No weird lines or bulges. Just smooth, narrow and sleek. As much as I like the Synergy font, I decided to see what it would look like without words. I experimented with electrical tape but now I don't think it's coming off. ![]()

![]() What do you guys like about Synergy models?
I like the fact that I can talk to the owner, manufacture, designer, and engineer of the product in person face to face Unlike other manufactures that are nameless faceless corporations that are in a different country half way around the world and its a quality product !

Ide like to say i'm a better behind the sticks than i am building (probably too much time spent on the sim). To give you an idea - My first heli was an MA Fury 55, probably one of the simplest, and easiest 600 size helis to build, not to mention one of the best instruction manuals to date. Before maiden, i had some more experienced pilots look over it and found a ton of mistakes and a jesus bolt missing. ![]() My 2nd heli was an N5C. Great quality, but a much more complex build. Matt guided me through the build via Facebook Messanger and responded to every question I had within the hour. It's a level of customer service that you can't find anywhere in RC. Miniature aircraft had great customer service, but i never had the owner and designer guide me through the build. There are a lot of other brands of heli's that I want to buy, but Matt has earned my loyalty through his actions alone. I hope he makes it through this transition period.

![]() I prefer the tail box looks of the Henseleits, Minicopters, and Protos. Xl power is dosing nice work too.
I think the 696 tail box looks cool too, but forgot as I sold mine back in summer. The head, grips and swash on that 696 was absolutely beautiful. |

I really like the Miniature Aircraft open tail gears too. Torn between a Whiplash or a Kraken for my next 700.

![]() I got real and removed the electrical tape. It was a good cheap way to see if I liked it. I did so it was replaced with some automotive vinyl wrap. Gave the 516 the same treatment while I was at it.

![]() Synergy has one of the most robust designs. Look at the size of the head and the parts, almost like jewellery. Great to see a local owner you can actually reach out to and talk with. I've owned a few helis and liked them all but Synergy is pretty special.
