![]() Hi all, I have a 500 T Rex helicopter that embarrassingly enough has not been flying in a couple of years.
I originally had a Spirit Pro FBL but sold a year or so back. I now have a Mini Beast X plus on it. My question is where should I be connecting my wiring, ESC, and servos on my Mini Beast X? The ESC is a HW 100a V-3 or 4. I am not sure really about the ESC. It seems I have forgotten a bunch since being away from the hobby!

![]() I don't have a Trex 500 or a BeastX. But, I don't think there is a "mini Beast X" flight controller. They have several versions of the MicroBeast, the NanoBeast, Sharp and some in partnership with Spektrum (AR7200BX / AR7300BX / AR7210BX) for flight controllers. They do have a BeastXRX mini - but that is a receiver only and not a flight controller.
Your best bet is to go to their site and see if you can download the manual for the BeastX flight controller you have. -= BEASTX - BE ABSOLUTE STABLE =- But, the HW 100a ESC has a built-in BEC. That means that its throttle lead's red wire carries power to the throttle port on the BeastX. You can find the manual for it on this link: https://www.hobbywingdirect.com/prod...atinum-100a-v3

![]() Download the manual for your unit, follow the directions. Arguably the best FBL manual there is comes with the BeastX. Awesome diagrams and can't be any more clear.

I suppose I am just too retarded to understand about the wire connections it doesn’t seem so clear to me involving the servo/ESC connections with the AR 7700 single line reciever involved. Thanks anyway fellas!

![]() Hi thanks for the info! I finally saw it in the manual! Right there in front of me duh!
I suppose I need to get more sleep when attempting to read anything. It’s all set up now, just gotta get it to the field and try it out. Thanks again!

![]() Glad you found it. There was just no way to explain it better than those super clear drawings.
Good luck on you maiden. My first battery I just do little bunny hops and bring it down to make sure nothing came loose. |

I’ve set up plenty of AR 7200 BX controllers before, and a couple of others. I was so frustrated because I knew it was in there somewhere right in front of me. Woke up next day and went right to it! Lol Haven’t had a chance to test it all out yet, due to weather/work/and most importantly the plate I discovered where the unit sits has a slight bit of movement to it! So I am trying to decide if I want to yank the tail and split the frame back there to get that plate outta there and either replace it, or do something riggy to it so it stays in position. Or just simply relocate the unit to the side.
