Default Gear Ratio on 2012 Diabolo 700 ?

What is the gear ratio on a 2012 /13 Diabolo 700?

Is it 9.63 with a 18 tooth pinion ?

Thank you

Hi Spencerkey,

Many thanks for the information. I used 10.9 Gear ratio w/ 18T. flew my D'7 today, and it was just a joy!

I updated my D'7 to VControl touch. Kontronix 160HV parameter settings is a bit different. There is still one Kontronix setting in the VBCT about "Teaching the ESC the Low position on next flight". Not clear on this one. I didn't use it. Just used direct stick mode to set Mode-1 & 4

I just so appreciate flying this machine.

Now! IF one has a 2012 Diabolo 700, why would they get a Logo 700? or would they get a D'7 Black / SE or the UL for Auto practice

I have a NIB Tribunus II 200 that needs a new home, either with me or in someone else's machine

KD

Get the BE. Your esc would be great for it.

Besides, after having a Diabolo you are going to be disappointed in any other heli.

I'm so tempted ... to get the BE!!

This thing is flying so well, I wonder where would be the value add in overall design. The only limitation is in my thumbs & smoothness of reflexes.
More $ for new servos, ESC, VBar, etc... Or you mean I install a "Non-German" mfg. Tribunus II 200 in it

I haven't even had to change dampers or trust bearings yet. It's just so clean. unless i find a new home for it and then get the BE .. Nuts!!

Have you compared it to Kontronik Kosmik, would you say it's better or on par !

Should I be aware of any compatibility / setup issues if used with Pyro 800-48 14 pole motor.
