Default Phoenix Dongle Emulator?

I bought a copy of phoenix years ago and the dongle/cable with it. Stopped flying for a long time and would like to get back into it but now can't find dongle.

I have a WS2000 USB working perfectly with my old DX7 and some other sims but it won't work with phoenix.

Anyone know a way to get this going?

The WS1000/2000 USB dongle is just 8 channel wireless simulator interface for Spektrum radios. However, the WS1000/2000 does not have the ability to override the Phoenix simulator copyright protection. To override the Phoenix simulator copyright protection you need either the proprietary Phoenix simulator USB dongle or one of the clone Chinese USB dongles with Phoenix simulator copyright bypass capabilities.

BTW, none of the modern RC heli simulators use proprietary hardware like Phoenix does. That includes the most recent versions of RealFlight.

I heard you need Phoenix Flight V6 to get the joystick mode running.
Maybe it works with the Spektrum wireless adapters (joystick/gamecontroller mode).

But the other threads clearly state, that you still need some additional dongle on the other USB port (copy protection based on the hardware, not only software).
Either the original Phoenix hardware dongle or a dongle emulator from China.

You could test the ClearView demo for a bit.

Or try latest Heli-X9c demo: https://www.heli-x.info/cms/corona-crisis/

It works with joystick controllers which you first need to calibrate in Windows (gamecontroller setting).

So which one is it? do we change the name to update or updates? For being such a short video it is pretty confusing. It is not working either way for me anyways.

This one is a bit more than some but I've used it with several simulators and it worked fine (you don't need the disc it comes with btw):

Default Able to calibrate SpektrumDX7 but unable to recognize to fly

Hello:

I have the 22 in 1 dongle attached to a Spektrum DX7 with Phoenix Simulator. I am able to calibrate the transmitter but when I power it on, the software gives an error message = unable to recognized transmitter!

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks.
