I am looking at what can be used now for my next 700 helicopter.

The TD1005S is advised for tail.

TD1609S and TD2111S are both advised for helicopter. Which would you pick?
In this day and age of overkill for torque I use BLS172SV which have almost double the torque of these Ditex. Will they be enough?

I don't have an answer for you...but..I was thinking the same they seem weak in torque compare to what I currently used in my 700 heli

Maybe we are comparing apple to oranges? I'm pretty sure not all servos are rated in the same way with the same test due to the lack of standard in the industry.

Actually I will take this back....re-looking at torque number....they are comparable to the MKS i'm currently using in the Urukay....and its fine

I'd probably go for the 1609 and run them at the highest voltage I could (8v regulated or 8.4 regulated if your BEC supports it. 16kg*cm is 222in*oz which should be plenty.

The rule of thumb I've used for the past few years is 0.1 sec/60 or slightly faster with as much torque as possible for cyclic servos. 0.07 does fly a tiny bit better but if you go much faster, you generally have to sacrifice a lot of torque.

Puttputt maru,

How are these servos working out?

I'm looking at them for a 75" wingspan P51 Mustang build I'm doing, they really look awesome for centering surfaces easily and was wondering if the Jeti Telem was working yet?

Thanks!

Mine are in my Extreme Flight extra 91 for ailerons, 2 per wings. They work perfect and were the easiest to set up because of the centering but also because they are extremely well matched.

I set up my surfaces with two amp meters, one for each servo on the same surface and I was surprised that I hardly needed any correction for them to act on the same surface without fighting each other.

I do hope they will come up with higher torque for all my other surfaces.

Have you flown them yet? Wondering about the feel....Solid or "loose" those kinds a things.

My manual suggests 60 in/oz servos or better and these really appeal to me.

I'm going to go with Jeti Central box 100, Rex R7 w/assist gasser 30/35cc R3 sat w RC switch and Jeti receiver packs x2 for RX power and ignition, electric retracts etc.

They feel solid but as mentioned I have them on aileron only but for the mustang it should be good for any surfaces.

Honestly they do not feel much different than any other servos on a plane but the ease of set up and now the telemetry to check load on them make them worthwhile for me.

They are also very quiet and center extremely well. I was so fed up with noisy servos and the one that bounce around center needing velcro to quiet them (777 anyone) because they are supposedly so sensitive, that this is a nice refreshing change.

Hello there Eric, would you happen to know how to program the servos (Ditex Jeti)

I received some yesterday (6 of them)
but I cannot find the : DITEX | Hacker Motor News Magazin manager. When I go to the WS, it says: OOPS 405 error
