Accurc 2.0 Setup Issues

I purchased this simulator back in December and I've yet to get it set up to where I can fly it. I have both a Spektrum ix12 and a dx6e transmitter. When I purchased the simulator, I also purchased a WS2000 dongle. Currently my dongle has stop working so I need to purchase another one. Is there something better I can purchase to make setup easier? I've tried working through the steps listed here: https://accurcsimulator.com/spektrum...0-preset-added. However when I try to calibrate and I pull the throttle below half stick it actives the next button in the calibration window. If I try to fly something in the simulator, anytime you moved the throttle below half stick the motor shuts off. How do I fix this? This seems like it will be a great simulator if I can just get it setup right, but at this point I'm just really frustrated with the whole setup process.

sounds like you are using a helicopter model memory rather than a fixed wing as depicted in the guide.

as you have discovered channel 6 also activates a button which makes calibration a little tricky in joy.cpl so you have to make sure you flick your 3 positions switch the other way first then the direction that activates the button.

I have no idea why the spektrum dongles do this very short sighted of them.

The Spektrum setup instructions should be updated to create an Aircraft (Acro) model to be used for calibration only. Then, create a Helicopter model to be used with the simulator helicopters. You do this because transmitter functions like the Flight Modes, Throttle Curves and Pitch Curves work appropriatly with the Helicopter model.

the ws2000 preset we have requires a fixed wing model memory with the tx configured to output a couple of switches directly to channels.

This requires the least config in the radio possible.

I am really happy with the rx2sim interface. It's very good and works with any radio.

Last I checked helidirect has them in stock.
