Default Avian 120

I hope this is the correct place to ask.
I’m thinking of using the new Avian 120 on my kraken 580 with a scorpion/Xnova motor, using spektrum 6s 50c 5000 packs. With the fc6250hx fbl. And probably KST servos... just for reference.

Would I be able to use the hobbywing programmer with this Avian 120?
Or
would I need to purchase the spektrum programmer?

Thank U

I know that a couple of us have wondered that. I have the 120 and the 6250 on a scale project of mine but when I had the chance to try a Hobbywing programmer, I completely forgot to try it. I thought that I read here on HeliFreak that the Hobbywing and Align units can work together. I would not let it stop you from using that setup as it does work very well together. Take care.

Mine was happily calling out the low voltage I was getting in near freezing temperatures on Saturday. I actually ignored it and listened to how consistent the readings were as cold temps will reduce the overall voltage by one or two on a 6s pack. I still flew pretty much the same time but landing a half minute shorter than normal. I might have taken a small chance but the readings are normally every 20 seconds and the warnings had ESC called out with the voltage given so in a sense, I was inundated with voltage readings, lol. Take care.

Not sure if I should continue here or
start a new thread/post/topic ?

It’s related to the Avian 120
In the set up menu, using my laptop with the spektrum programmer
I’ve run into a few things I don’t understand

Active freewheel- it comes disabled but I don’t know what it does. Do I need to worry about it?

And
Governor gain - level 1
Not sure which governor to use fbl or esc

And
Dgr - pinion, is this the pinion on the motor?

Main gear drive- I’m assuming it’s the regular main gear

Drive gear ratio- not exactly sure

Throttle/ main blade rpm

I’m including pictures in case I made it more confusing then it is
and so information:

Kraken 580, using the Sab 570 blades may go to 600’s in the future, if possible
X-nova 4020 1200kv motor
Avian 120 esc
Spektrum fc6250 with Dx9
Xpert Kd1t tail servo
Kst x15-1208 for cyclic
I hover to very light sport flights

Your help is greatly appreciated
