Hi I have used my DS16 with both and it works fine.

With the NEO of course Vcontrol integrates much better but if I need to adjust settings i just take a laptop with which i dont see as a big deal. Once setup i dont fiddle much. You can even ask guys with a vcontrol at the field to help you make changes to your neo setup and then fly it with your Jeti radio

As far as flying goes you have access to all controls the silverline and neo provide.

Thanks for the info, I have v control touch too but it is not so good for turbine the jeti has more telemetry options, the jeti would be for the the turbine only

I dont think the Vbar is compatible with EX-Bus but if you use a REX receiver you can set the output to SBus, which Vbar does work with.

You dont get any of the integration features that you get between Jeti and a FBL such as Spirit or Brain2, but it will work fine to actually fly the heli.

HI,

ive had many vbars (mini/silver/neo) using jeti in the past. best option is to use rex receiver and Mikados UDI protocol, which is perfectly supported by the rex receivers! just be sure to have the rx firmware up to date!

Ciao

I'm a brand new Jeti user and wondering which rex receiver are you all using. I currently have a vcontrol with vbar neo and satellite on a logo 700 setup and flying for years. Switched to Jeti for jet models and would like to try and fly helis with it.

My thought is to just remove the vbar satellite and connect a rex receiver. I'm hoping I don't have to go back through the setup but if I do no big deal. Is a rex 3 sufficient or do I use something else. Also they have a rex 3 2.4 and a rex 3 900mhz. Just want to understand better. Thanks for any help

i've used a bunch of Rex3's attached to Neos... just configured them to 10ms, UDI direct, failsafe inactive (fs should be done by Neo), serial UDI 12ch (E1 or E2) and it was done. never any trouble. just bring the Rex3 to newest firmware.

in your Jeti TX the only "special" thing to do is to adjust the -100/0/100 points and channel numbers to match vbar setup software once.
