Default Flybarless unit placement

Has anyone found any difference with placing the controller in the front vs the rear. ?? I have the nitro and I was thinking it might be better in the rear being farther from the engine. I am probably wrong because in the rear you have the tail and drive train vibes.

I have mine mounted on the front, and I have had zero issues. I have put the FBL on the rear of electric helicopters, and I have never noticed any difference in performance. I do like to mount the FBL on the front of my nitros, just to keep oil from the exhaust off of it a little better.

I liked the rear placement on the gasser version and it seems to have been easier access to the wires, for me. I'm sure nitro would be the same, although there may not be as much vibration in the front position as the gasser. Try both and see.
