Default RAW 700 What Flybarless Mount? Dampened or Rigid!!!

Just wondering what mount everyone is using and how is the vibes with each. I have 4 flights with mine with the dampened mount and a vbar neo vlink and am having quite a few extreme vibrations going on. They are not affecting flight performance but I am wondering if its from the dampened mount because there is a lot of movement in that mount. Any suggestions or tips would be appreciated. Thanks, Wyno

Why not just try the other and see if it changes?

I eventually will try the other but just wanted to see what everyone else was using. I'm only 6 flights in so I'm gonna let it break in a little more before I change the flybarless mount.. It flies great but I don't like to see those extreme vibrations showing up. I fly my Logo 700 and never get above raised vibrations so it made me a little nervous.

What percent do you consider raised?

Dampened mount is best for RAW, but note even then you will get Xtreme vibe warnings, I get least 20 in a flight even dampened. You do not see them on the Logo 700 as its frame and such is plastic and absorbs alot.

The Raw rail section which is your core center is rigid and throws alot of vibration through the entire chassis.

The NEO doesn't have a % (well technically it does as there is a live vibration graph thing you can look at but only while its actually flying). There are just notes about vibration level in the event log (raised, high, extreme). My understanding is that you only need to worry if you are getting warnings while hovering (or so I've been told).

For my RAW I use the dampened, but for my Kraken, I didn't have that option and never had an issue. I use Ikon2, however. Make sure the bulk of your wiring is not resting against the transmission.

Glad to see that others using the Neo experience extreme warnings as well. I counted on 1 flight and had 16 extreme warnings. That made me extremely nervous after never having any on my logo 700. The Raw 700 flies great and doesn't have any bad tendencies so I'll just keep flying as is. Thanks for all your input and happy flying.
