Default Replacing a switch

I need to replace a broken switch on my vbct. How easy is it to do?

Is there a special tool I need to unscrew the switch from the radio? Pliers do not seem to grab a hold without scratching the radio.

All good hobby shops sell the tool or you can use a pliers covered with a cloth to unscrew and retighten the nut.
