Very nice setup, I hope it does well and they sell a lot of them.
I love the neatness.

So being in a wide open space with few people is bad . .. . . But everyone being indoors is good

There comes a time when you just have to say screw that and do want you want.

Couple additional questions :
1. What is the flight time??since I can't see clearly the fuel tank so I can't guess the capacity of fuel tank and approximate flight time
2. Can I monitor the head speed??Is there any hall effect (magnet) sensor mount (futaba, align, etc) so I can monitor and use governor (I'm using vBar and governor works fine with Wren 45i).
3. Specific to the turbine itself, is the dimension different compare to Wren 45i or Xicoy 45H?if it's the same size, I can use my Trex conversion that sits on the shelf since I move to Whiplash Turbine.
Need some insight.
Thank you.

Evening Koromo

Just a part list as stated in my previous post. No price lists yet.
I will only report on my level of satisfaction with the flying performance, which will be soon. Your technical question should be referred to a vendor.
I did buy a second KT-800 as I am downsizing from my 4 biggies.

Cheers

Been communicating with Kingtech, for information ;
1. Flight time is about 8 minutes.
2. Currently there's no head speed monitor
3. Parts can be directly contact to them
4. Kingtech for KT45H sold RTF, they don't sell only the turbine.

So DonovanDow, after you take it out for flying, please let me know the actual flying time and how you set your head speed for 2 (or more) different head speed. I want to use governor for this like my wren 45i.

Thank you,

Evening Kumoro

No governor is used with my new Jeti Tx and Spirit Rx.

I use a launch/takeoff/landing 7-point throttle curve:
1%, 33%, 33%, 33%, 60%, 60%, 60%.

Then for fly arounds a 7-point constant 65%.

I have programmed in a 7-point constant 75% for aerobatics (later on).

I use a 3-way switch to alternate among these 3 settings.

My turbine shutdown is 0% on a separate switch.

Might be a stupid question, but does this kit include everything other than battery, RX and FBL unit?

I really like this heli. Owning a couple of turbine jets I have always been keen on getting a turbine heli, however the scale stuff is way to pricey and looks a tad “boring” to fly.

There does not seem to be much info on this heli yet. Im keen too a video where it flies in F3C manner.

Is that 65% shown on the GSU? I am asking since the GSU is using some sort of expo on throttle. 65% throttle on the Tx is not 65% on the GSU.

I fired it up the very first time today without mainblades to test if it fires up and if my tail rotor is compensating as it should.

I liked what i saw and especially what I heard..

1st time firing up the jet engine.. 😂 (2 min 59 sec)

Edit: It's flying. I need to build up confidence to let it loose but it is up in the air at least!

KT-800 easy flying. (3 min 36 sec)

I finally dared to do some basic aerobatics with it.
At 72% throttle I did some basic stuff like loops rolls and the like.

It flies very similar to the Diabolo 800+ I had. It doesn't feel heavy or anything. The pukker factor is higher but the machine can do it.

I am not sure if smack 3D is possible - probably is with good pitch management. I wont find out though.

If you are like me and like to look at scale helis but get bored actually flying them this one is a good choice. It's actually very much fun to fly.
