Question Sbus selected for Sbus 2 ??? (SOLVED)

I read conflicting information that SBbus Mode must (or not) be selected to have the Sbus 2 port active for use.

Is that correct?

Futaba R7008SB

Some have said that the Sbus2 is active in all four modes (A.B.C.D.).
Others state that the Sbus mode must be active (B or D)

The manual shows where to connect both Sbus and Sbus2 cables, but I'm not seeing the answer I need there.

I can just hook up and test the receiver for Sbus2, but thought I would ask HFers if there is a solid answer.

If there is a dedicated hard port it is active all the time like the 7008
S,Bus is on port 8 and you need to have that RX in the correct mode (B or D)

If it helps I am a Team Futaba member and handle a lot of the online tech support..
