The easiest way to find the governor is to follow the line from the sensor wire on the left side where the aluminium bracket is to where it goes. There may be a voltage regulator in there somewhere but sometimes it is just as easy to start from scratch. There would be a minimum of 7 channels used plus one power lead from the battery pack/voltage regulator. That would fill that receiver very easily. Two of those inputs could be single signal line inputs, like the one used on the gyro for the gain control. Is there a club close to you? I know only one in VA and that is up in Spotsylvania. You might contact Just Fine Helis in the Richmond area if you can't find a local club but I am sure that there is one in your area. Have a look at the AMA's web site as they have a club locator. We can help sort out the generalities but it may take someone to get their hands "dirty" fine tuning the setup with you. Take care.

No programmer… do I really need all this stuff to fly this ? Or can I start from scratch and Take of the govner.. voltage regulator Off …I’m not doing any crazy 3d ..just flips.. rolls inverted hovering .. loops.. that’s about it.. can’t I get a six channel reviver.. hook up the Necessities and fly.. After radio programming of course. Or will it not fly without all that ? I do belong to a club here…all airplane guys.. 1 other heli guy.. and he Just got into it with a flybarless heli he has no clue about the nitro bird

You can sure use flat or modified curves.
With the servos you need to stay under or around 6 v for those as they are not hv servos.

What is your heli experience btw? I may have missed it.

Hello. .. thanks for answering…I really appreciate it.. My helicopter experience is very limited… I’m 60 flew several years ago .. raptor 50 and 90..loved it.. developed some eye problems and had to stop..now after a lot of eye work I can see pretty decent again and I really want to fly . I have a couple old trex 500s with fly bars that I am flying every weekend. Really wanted a big nitro heli saw the fury on the for sale forum here and decided to go for it. Guess I jumped in a lil over my head. Really hoping I get it going..Thank you very much in advance for any advice

Honestly..I’m really not trying to build a crazy 3d machine.. I just want a big nitro heli to fly around and enjoy while I still can.. I do want To be able to go inverted.. but nothing extreme.. thanks

Ahh ok. You can fly then. Was worried your were totally new. One hit on that and finding spares will be tough and frustrating.

Yeah. Ditch the the gov. People never used them in the past. World won't end.

So with new rx, radio you should be good.
