They’re still there but I don’t really see non-JR reps flying their stuff

the original company JR Propo went bust a few years ago. A business called RC Depot stepped in and rescued the brand name and some of the products (but not all). I think it's fair to say that they dont have anything like the market share that they once had and that decline had probably started long before the original business went bust. The lack of activity in this sub forum and JR's position in recent 'what transmitter' polls points to this decline. They still make some nice stuff though.

JR PROPO IS NOT DEAD!

WE ARE VERY MUCH ALIVE!

I just finished building a Forza 600N helicopter (I think there are two in the U.S. right now)!

JR now more focus on RC plane. Heli market is tiny for them to earn money.
Look at the RC plane events, they are bigger and bigger year after year.
And look at IRCHA, less and less people come to IRCHA. Even SAB is thinking about quitting this hobby market and thinking about investing into new think like SAB robotix

A made up rumour if ever I heard one. If SAB are thinking about quitting RC helis they have a strange way of showing it, they released several new models so far this year alone.

Any evidence whatsoever to support this? Their investment in new models has actually increased in recent times. The facts dont bear out your made up theory at all.

JR is actively growing in both the electronics (radios, servos, etc.) and helicopter end of the market.

https://www.deeforce.net/

I seriously don't think SAB is going anywhere-as Smoggie said, they have been coming out with new machines. They have a huge following and, I would guess, a huge share of the market.

Every once in a while, someone pops up and wants to plunge a dagger into a company as if they have inside information. What pleasure can be derived from this I don't know, but you see it fairly frequently.

SAB has been releasing the most models in their history as of late.

Please stop with the blatantly fake news.

BC,

"Is the new forza 600n anything like the vibe or all new?"

I never had the Vibe, so I cannot answer the question-my apologies.

The Forza 600n is very similar to the Vibe 50. The only major differences are the belt tail and the shorter head. Vibe 50 has a torque tube tail and 30mm taller head. Otherwise very similar.
