I've had good experience with Bluebird servos. Got three of the BMS-127WV on the recommend of Atomic Skull a couple years ago and they're still running fine on my Oxy 2 factory edition. Love those, i'd never sell them.

Haven't tried the larger servos, but I do keep an eye on their website for new products, would be willing to give them a shot

I've four of the BMS-127WV servos on the way now. I do like that you can choose the gearing you prefer to pick the mix of torque and speed you want.

The 127's have more than enough torque for me, and they're plenty fast enough for cyclics at 6V.

Well, first impressions are good. Nicely packaged and good looking servos. Bonus points for arriving with an actual manual / spec sheet too.

Given the expensive Hitec servos I ordered earlier this year came loose without so much as a box, these are looking significantly better so far.

So far so good with the BMS-17A, but it needed a retune of the tail D gain settings. This servo really manhandles the tail mechanics due to it's torque. Stops that were relatively soft previously became excessively hard when I changed the tail servo. Tail hold is like the end of the boom is being held fixed in place by a robot though, it does not move at all, even in strong wind gusts.
