Only made two flights on it today. I`m flying most of the flights at about 2550+/- head speed. I need to swap out the two pinions to a lower tooth count so I can bump my throttle curve back up. Flying at about 75% but would like to raise it back up in the 85% range and keep the 2550 as max head speed.

I believe I have found a way to install mini servos for the swash on my Chase 430. I have the parts coming but will not make it here till next week. I will probably do the test fitting of parts on one of my other Chase I have then move it to the C430. The C430 has been flying so good I kind of hate to make changes to it but I`m a little worried about the micro servos on it.

I`m working on a template for the mini servos today since I`m waiting for the parts to arrive next week. I had one made out of some thin plastic (credit card thickness) but drill the mounting hole in the wrong place. I then made one out of paper and looks like I have the holes in the right place now. Now I will transfer to the thin plastic for a better template to cut the carbon fiber. I may even make some out of thicker clear plastic for some test fitting before I ever cut the carbon fiber.

I used the CF tail servo mount to make three swash servo mounts for now to test fit it all. I will use them for templates to make thicker Cf mounts. I may test hover it with these mounts but they flex really easy by hand so worried they may break under load. I had to come up with a different anti-rotation mount. I will be adding the frame brace to the frames.

The wiring job looks like crap but mine always look bad on the Chase. As i said earlier I did this mod on my test frame Chase 380. If it works out good then I will move the servo mounts to my C430. I don`t think the stock canopy will clear without cutting holes to clear servo. I have a D380 canopy on this heli.

This past weekend I hurt one of my C420 and had to swap the head from one of my Chase 360 to the C420. In the process of the rebuild I notice the X3 grips match up really close to the Chase grips. So I installed the X3 grips on the C360 using the X3 spindle and some spacers. From bolt to bolt the spacing is still close to the same distance. Here`s two pictures of the C360 with X3 grips. They are the plastic grips but the X3 metal grip should work also. I just need to go over the setup of the main rotor.

Please forgive the dust on the C360 .. It has not been flown in a long time.

To add to using the X3 grips / spindle, If you have a G380 / D380 head on the Chase 360 then you do not have to use extra spacers to make up for the assembly. Just have to find the right thin spacer to use with G380 head and X3 grips.

I have the X3 metal grips on a G380 for awhile now so I could use an old set of MS Composite 380 blades.
