Default Having a Challenge with Banks/Stabilisation

Got a little bored this am so I decided it was time to play around with Banks. Ive never really had a use for them, but what the hell, why not learn how to use them?

I went to the Channel page while plugged into the unit and assigned Banks to Ch7. I looked through the tabs and noticed the only thing that was off was Collective Range, so I gave it the same value as Bank 0.

Next I changed Stabi to Stabilisation Normal. I just wanted to see how the Spirit Stabilisation works compared to past Blade products.

I can't seem to get Stabilisation Normal to engage to save my life. Ive checked the monitors on the TX and the FBL and everything is transmitting like it should. I even bumped that channel's travel to +120 and -120, but still no stabilization.

any ideas?

as with all problem you should experience: first step is to go into diagnostics page in the Spirit settings and see if the things you have programed are really working. switch to the bank you have programmed stabilization and activate it with the channels you've assigned.... does it work in diagnostics?

Ciao
Michael

Yup. When I said ‘monitor’ I should have said ‘diagnostic page’.

Assign a channel to banks in the software, assign a switch to that channel in your TX
Do the same for stabi function
In software stabi page bank 0, assign a function eg Rescue acro, and save it
change the tab at the bottom of the stabi page to bank 1 and assign stabilisation normal or acro and save it
Check in the bank comparison on the backup tab to see if the stabi function is different in banks 0 and 1
Fly the model in bank 1 and activate your rescue switch to turn on stabilisation

Your last sentence is what I was missing……..I wasn’t flipping my rescue switch.

Thanks a lot, I knew it had to be something simple!
