New receivers AR6110 and AR6110E
So, is it just me or has this one just showed up on the shelves without even so much as a blip in terms of product annoucement? Maybe I missed an ad in a magazine somewhere?
http://www.spektrumrc.com/Products/D...odID=SPMAR6110 http://www.spektrumrc.com/Products/D...dID=SPMAR6110E Same great price as the AR6100, lighter and with a seperate LED to indicate holds. |

Yeah, they don't heven list them on the spektrum website yet (funny they are now listing servos, but still no new rx's), but they are listed for sale on horizon.
Looking at the antennas, I think its like the older park flyer ar6000 with the dual link. I do like the hold warning light. |

I don't understand the "hold" light - what is that for ? What do they mean by "holds"
Thanks, Mike |

Hold is when the receiver temporarily looses reception (but is still powered).... it will hold the last input stick movement until reception is regained (throttle will go to the smartsafe aka bind position).

Frame - all receivers failed to get a good packet of information simultaneously. Small frame losses are common and to be expected.
Hold – a hold occurs when 45 contiguous (one right after the other) frame losses occur. Jason |

Per Spectrum documentation this takes about 1 second to occur.

So I got my 6110 today. WOW this thing is tiny!! I was trolling around for pics of others 6100 placement, and found it is even smaller than that! I'm impressed how they can fit so much in such a small space.
I got mine from Big Sky Hobbies in the Twin Cities for $36.99 !! cant beat that price anywhere. http://www.bigskyhobby.com/Radio-Sys...um--p1792.html 6100 19mm x 30mm x 9mm 6110 18.85mm x 25mm x 11.6mm..........6110e 21mm x 28.7mm x 10mm Here it is next to the Hyperion USB servo programmer.
