For spares for the canopy I just ordered M3 nylon plastic washers from here in the UK on eBay (http://r.ebay.com/QLmjlA)

Cheers,
Alastair

I found some white Dubro washers at my LHS that work fine. Pick up a few extra packs. It's amazing how fast they disappear in the grass when the wind is blowing. Same goes for the bolts used to secure forward fuse.

On the same subject, you will see the holes in forward fuse elongate as the flight count increases. I copied what Vinger did during my build and reinforced the interior of my fuse with carbon cloth/epoxy at all the mounting locations. After 50 flights, the holes in forward fuse are about 10% larger than when I started.

I decided to take the ebay china route. 350 washers in good sizes for 12 euro.

Default Washer solution

Just get some Buna o-rings 1 x 2.5 to lock down the washers on the screws.

I also opted using nylon m3 screws on the back canopy bolts to prevent the nuts that are epoxied on the fuse from accidently cross threaded.

Great idea on the o-rings as washer retainers!
