Maximum blade length 766

Hopefully someone can shed some light on the maximum blade length for the 766 when the 766 tail is used.

I've got some 785's I'd like to try but afraid they're too long.

It's a tight fit by design to keep the tail as short as possible to reduce elevator bobbles. There's just enough room for 766 and 116 blades. If you are running 116s then 785s would give nearly 19mm of overlap. I wouldn't try it...get the 806 boom instead.

Thanks Rob. I've got the 806 tail so I'm good. Do you have any flight feedback flying the 766 on 716's with the stock 766 boom?

Elevator would be a little less optimized, might get a bounce.

before i totaled out my 766 i ran a set of align 780s with 114 sab tails and it JUST cleared.
