Very nice looking Frank,

I believe the head will need to be covered for less drag and turbulence.

Ohh man, That means Ill have to make a new canopy for it, before I go that route, Id just get a DS. Or cut the mainshaft to lower the head.

Cut the main shaft Frank.
You are not doing 3D so boom strike is much reduced.

LOL, I was looking at the Vector again, and it looks like a Dolphin, These fish are fast as hell in water, faster in the air? But still looks like a Dolphin,
Maybe I'll just go and buy a body kit for 1, take the DS Techniques and my own finesse, and build one myself, I want light weight, and LOTS a Power.
I have all the equipment tools and stuff to do such a task at hand, but first I have to get my 450 Speed done.
Work, live, bother my wife, and live a bit also. Im Testing a 450 tomorrow, made a motor for it, and coming after you with a small record holder, LOL just jokin' man.

A 450 at 220kmh, would fly apart, not the chassis, but the canopy.
As you know from mine, I use NO CFK (Carbon). I dont like how it holds, It keeps the form till it is just about to break, Than its over, broken, kaput. Throw away.

Maybe I'll have to get a hold of Gerd, and see what he thinks. 7075 Alu is real nice stuff.

YES, I am lowering my main on my 450 at the moment, and when I get the fuse for the Vector, It wont be sticking out of the top at all...

Frank

True! I wouldn't think it'd be great for speed though, with the width and the "fins" on that orange and blue one.

As far as I know, The canopy top is almost as important as the front section, there is a bunch of air pushing on it in these things, more pitch, more pressure on it.

Ill have to get 1 in the wind tunnel sometimes, and see what kind of turbulence it has at pitch and speed, than look at the figures when vertical in the tunnel.
But I think about 10deg forward and 12deg pitch would do it, for getting numbers to work on. Slowly increase the wind speed and look at the CW if the canopy or the blades dont blow off first.

That one is not mine but mine will be very similar and it will be white too. I may give it some sort of livery theme for example Red Bull or something similar.

Put a pic of it in here man, we need some more Not to many Vectors out there, as only 300 or so will be made. And that Swissrumpf looks even better, just a bit outa my price range.

Will do when I get one...just got a Speed Goblin so it'll be a couple more months for the Vector.
