Default 780 Align blades on MSH Protos V2 - Spirit FBL

Hi All,

Anyone flying 780 align's or similar (e.g. 766 rails) on Protos V2 with Spirit FBL?

Just curious ... I moved from 710 Switches (love those!) at 1950 RPM to Align 780's at 1400 RPM for kicks and to try something different.

Not bad at all - but not very "locked in" right now. I have to be careful with collective of course, elevator wobble is present and I can get the tail to deviate from its heading hold position on full deflection of the cyclic - e.g punch out / rainbow @ full noise.

I'd appreciate knowing if anyone else is running the Spirit - maybe we can swap rough guidelines for setup.

Cheers - keep those blades AWAY from mother earth!

Mine is Brain, but I fly at 1350 for 9 minutes and it's incredible. Same blades.

Yup - makes sense. Before I did the Protos V2 I had a Synergy E7SE on a similar setup - 10 minutes no problem at lower head speeds, I also flew that on 6S quite a bit - very different experience (in fact I recall I maidened it on 6s - lol).

The Synergy E7SE now sits on the wall - its internals were ripped out to put into a Protos Max V2 - as somehow the E7 didn't grab me and make we want to fly it.

Nope. I've seen too many people having problems with that. I'm experimenting with Brain 2 now that it has Jeti and rescue.
