![]() This was a lifesaver for getting a 3 position switch to work like I wanted it to but I have one question. What do I alter to center the Atti mode to get it to light up blue? It goes to the right place but I can not make it light blue.

I only understood 3/4s of what I did. Mix, end points, or trim?

![]() On the DX18 I two front three way switches amd assigned a setting to each position so that it lined up with the right point. A friend has a 9503 and set it up this way I am pretty sure, I then added the mix for the failsafe/RTH function so that no matter where either of the two three way switches are set they get over ridden and forced into RTH mode, I used what would normally be the gear switch for my RTH function.
I will see if I can do a video to show you the setup I did. Pete

![]() Looking at your video though you get the blue light lit in ATT mode, not understanding what was the problem you were having?

![]() I can adjust the end points to get blue lights at each end ( GPS, Manual) but I cannot figure out what to alter the center position on the switch (Atti). I am in Atti mode but it is not blue. It seems no matter what I alter I can not shift the center. I figured it would be the gear mix but it seems no matter what nothing changes.

![]() I set mine up in Heli mode that way us can us the throttle hold as you fail safe RTH switch that way it keeps my radio set up (switch orientation) just like my Helis set up.
Flight Mode Switch = Manual, Atti & GPS mode. Throttle Hold = return to home Aux 2 = Intelligent Orientation Modes No mixes just adjust your pitch curves to flat line as follows Normal Mode: Flat 7% (gives you Manual Mode) ST -1 Flat 50% (gives you Atti Mode) ST-2 Flat 93% (give you GPS Mode) Hold Flat 30% ( gives you Failsafe) When wiring up your receiver to you MC Throttle, Aileron, Elevator and Rudder go to there respective channels. Aux 1 goes to U for your different flight modes Aux 2 goes to X2 for your different Intelligent Orientation modes. I don't use intelligent orientation modes so I use Aux 2 (programming the Aux 2 switch to pitch trim lever in device select) to adjust my gains while in flight. Its all personal preference but since I fly helis I prefer to keep my radio switches laided out the same no matter what I'm flying. I current fly this radio setup on three different multi rotors and it works flawlessly.

![]() Should I go with the Witespy 450 with Naja/GPS or the DJI 450 wheel with Naja/GPS for my first Quadcopter? I have been flying Electric and Nitro Helis for 4 years now and need a change..I like these Quads. I have an X9303/ R921RX with the updated X firmware from Horizon Hobbies. Im reading on different set-ups and like 02deuce..I like the Heli mode if possible because that's what I am accustom too when I'm at the sticks. May need some help on the set-up if possible guys?? Thanks...Nice Forum!!

What do I alter to center the Atti mode to get it to light up blue? It goes to the right place but I can not make it light blue.[/QUOTE] You put the switch in the center position while connected to Assistant. Adjust the sub trim until the ATTI slider turns blue, then you adjust the end points. It is very simple once you know the trick. All my DJI controllers with my 9503 are set up in ACRO.

![]() Hey Dog!!
![]() As Tahoe Ed said, you change the Atti slider by moving the subtrim of the channel you're using for that function. Remember that when you move the subtrim for center, you'll now have to go back and move the ends (Man and GPS) with travel adjust... The only benefit I have found for using Acro mode with Multirotors is that you now can use Aux 1 as a free channel. In Heli mode, it is locked into the throttle stick (collective). The aircraft flies and operates the same either way.

![]() I use my Aux 1 and connect it to the U channel. That way my FMode switch is now my mode switch. Aux 2 for IOC and Gear for a mix to force Failsafe. Makes set up very simple.

![]() Gain Settings...Hi Guys, I have just ordered a New f450 with Naza & GPS. I'm setting this up in Heli Mode using THOLD for RTH (Failsafe). A question about adjusting gains in the X9503...When I adjust my gains remotely using this Pitch lever , Are all of the gains are being affected when I adjust ? How does this work, it has me confused? We cannot use our Gyro Sens menu for anything in this Multi Copter? Thanx..

![]() I figured it out. You can choose the Gains you want to adjust in the fields via AUTOPILOT prior to going out in the field from the software (X1,X2). Get your Multi Copter flying to your liking and WRITE this to the NAZA after your done setting up your gains. Correct?

![]() Honestly I did it all manually I would just go fly real quick see if I like the gain setting then plug in the USB try another gain setting fly again. Took in five minutes.
I have had them as low as 90. But the top ones (the top row in the software screen) are sitting at 180 today. It is a matter of preference and machine. If it oscillates out its twitchy it is too high. Sent from Galaxy S3
