Default DSM2 vs DSMX

What is the difference between DSM2 and DSMX?

Are the AR6200 and AR6210 rx the same except the 6210 has DSMX?

DSMX hops frequencies.

DSM2 selects two clear frequencies when the Tx is powered up and it uses those until the Tx is power cycled.

Default DSMX

DSMX IS A NEWER TECHNOLOGY ITS BETTER TO HAVE WHEN AROUND MULTIPLE FLYERS SUCH AS WHEN IN COMPETITION AND 20 PEOPLE FLYING TOGETHER CHANCE OF INTERUPTED SIGNAL IS LESS LIKELY TO HAPPEN WITH THE DSMX. I JUST GOT THE DX8 RADIO AND TWO DSMX SATELITES. I BELIEVE THE DSM2 ONLY RELYS ON 2 CHANNELS.

Actually DSMX is designed for events where WAY more than 20 people are operating. In the 100 and up range.

Spektrum DSM2 uses 80 "channels." One is reserved for binding, so 79 available. Divided by 2 (2 "channels" in use by each Tx), that is 39 before the band is fully in use.

DSM2 has been formally tested with 45 Tx operating at the same time wihtout issues.

I don't fly in crowed fields, or at competitions.
