Default Should I buy an Agile?

I currently have a V3 Trex 550 that I fly. I'm looking to upgrade to something more modern. I would use the electronics from the Trex for the 550. Its come doen to deciding if to go with the Agile, Goblin 570 or to stick with the Trex. Any opinions?

Hello
I'm building a 5.5 right now.... The kit has been very nice and the parts are great. Only thing that didn't fit without working on them were the servo spacers on the tail servo... I had to drill them out just a little so the screws went though smoothly.

I have also changed mine to a 12s setup with the 7.2 tt cut down to size the bird to a 6.2 class.
I have also changed out the tail rotor to an Align 600/700 proV2 tail rotor.
You have to remove 1mm off each arm so the KDS balls line up the the tail pinch arm.

As far as what you should pick for your next Helicopter........
I think the 5.5 kit is nice.... The Goblin 570 is a nice bird as well.... The trex 550 is a work horse .... I have a Align/Tarot 600CF 12s very smooth flying bird.. but nothing on that bird came in the kit.. So its not fair to say its an Align.....
Just looking around for parts I would say the Goblin would be better... More shops have there parts than the KDS. Align is always going to be the best as far as parts.... You can get them any where.

If you looking for a 550/600 size bird don't forget about the Compass 6HV........ that is a bird that should be in your list to look at with the others you listed

But the KDS 5.5 is a nice bird to build... Hoping mine fly's as well as she looks
Good luck.......

The Agile 5.5 flys great. The only problem I had with it is the tail fin vibrates like crazy and there is really nothing you can do about it. Unless you try to stiffen it up more with something. There is a video on YouTube from Nelson saying its normal. It doesn't effect the flight nor does it get any tail wag from it. Just annoying to watch. Anyways yes it's a good heli.

But parts. The parts I had to order over seas and it's a pain. KDS USA has parts but some of the stuff I needed was out of stock. I wanted to order from one place vs two or three. Also the KDS servos, one of them decided it wanted to burn up which cause the crash. I which over to the KST x20's. And using the KDE 600 -1100kv motor.

If I didn't buy the parts. I would of not rebuild the KDS and got a goblin 570 instead. That's the only thing right now was the part availability.
