Default Walkera mini cp won't take off ... please help a newbie here...

So i have just recently change the stock rotor to a metal one i bought online.. everything looks good until i boot it up the 1st time after that that is ...

The problem now is that my heli refused to take off no matter how much i jam on the tx. Do not think theres anything wrong with the heli itself as the guy can take off when i switch to different fmod , and i suspect its the tx setup that is screwed or something else on the heli ..

Previously i had the same problem and some suggested i adjust the pitch trim to a level where the 2 rotor blades are level , i have again tried that method again but it is not working this time.

Using a devo 10 with latest firmware and minicp.bin from walkera webbie.

Can anyone please advise what else do i need to check and rectify before i can get my heli flying again ? Thanks in advance

You should be able to swing both blades backward with the rotor perpendicular to the boom and your pitch should be about an inch to an inch and a half between the ends of the blades. A picture is worth a thousand words here and a video would be even better than a picture, but I am at work now and cannot help. I will try to post a video tonight for you.
I am assuming you already checked the collar, right? That is the most common reason for not getting enough pitch.

Thanks for the reply ...

Finally got my heli up in the sky again !! I was rubbish, did not realize i mixed up the ball link for the swashplate and the blade grip. They do look almost identical but close inspection reveal that the blade grip ball link is about 2-3mm longer than the rest . Just had to swap one of the wrong ball link attached to the blade grip and everything is good now.

Cant imagine how silly i look when i found out the problem .. lol
