Default DX8G2

Does anyone have a .spm files for the DX8G2 that I could try? I just got this nano and it is all over the place. I have a 130s and 180CFX that flies awesome so I know it is not me. I have tried programming per the manual and tried the spm for the DX9. I got this little thing to get more stick time in my basement but as it is now I can't even fly it outside!

Fixed my issue. I have been out of helis for about 2 years and realized I have become rusty at trouble shooting. The setup I downloaded for the DX9 had mad trim in all 3 modes . Once I realized that and zeroed all the trims the heli now flys acceptable. Now to just get the thumbs back in shape.

Knowing how to build (and troubleshoot) your own TX models will become a valuable skill. Plenty of info on TX's and how they work here on HF and on the net. I can point you at resources if your want.

Glad you got it sorted.

Happy flying.

Thanks. Appreciate the input. A 2 year break from helis was all it took for me to forget everything I learned. I know about all the resources as I am not a total noob. Just gotta get back into things the way I used to be. Thanks for the comment!

Those .spm files combined with the many setup errors made in manuals are a bit of a sore point for me. I found the exact same thing you did when I got my first nano, extraordinary amount of trim in the setup file, and that was nearly a year ago now.

This really shouldn't happen with setup files and manual setup instructions. For more experienced pilots these things aren't to difficult to troubleshoot but for someone completely new to the hobby these type of errors can make for a real headache.

Agreed. If HH wants to get people into the hobby setting them up with bad setup files is not the way to do it. I tried to set the thing up per the manual but just was missing something I guess. Still can't figure out what that was. Just glad to be flying again. Trying to get back the skills. Here is a video of me a few years ago when the nano cpx came out.
