Default Speaking of the tail...

Was flying around at work lunch and came in for a hover close to me (I love admiring my purple rakon canopy ).

Noticed the battery connector vibrating up and down like mad. Heli flew smoothly. Tail was performing ok (was windy so not acting perfectly, but the 230s tail rarely is).
Landed and saw I somehow had lost one tail prop blade. I was amazed the tail was holding that well! Cool. Always wondered what would happen if one blade let go.

That's it. Just wanted to share.

I have flown it with 2 of the blades gone. It will hold good enough to land and do very slow circuits. Wouldn't recommend trying it though. I only did it because I was mad that I had just lost another tail prop.

I think in the end it will overwork the motor. Would still probably take a long time to kill the motor though. It didn't sound like it was screaming actually. Weird.

Still overall the best bird blade has done from cost, position, durability, crash resistance, easy repairs and easy fun. The cfx series may seem more pro level, but that's where blade falls on their face. They should stick with cheaper, plastic framed, entry and mid level copters and improve the flight characteristics. My oxy 2 at fully head speed and high rates is easier to fly than my 230s. That says a lot.
