Default 600l dominator frame flex / servo motor contact

Hi all. Need some help.

Has anybody with a Trex 600l Dominator had any issues to date with servo ( right side when looking at heli from front) coming into contact with motor? I noticed this when recently replacing servo gears dealing with servo horn slop.

From my research it appears a number of users do have frame flex isssues with the 600pro and am thinking this is related. Does the 600l Dominator have the same flaw even with the anodised frame stiffeners that come stock with the 600L?

I'm not entirely sure if it was caused from servo screws coming a little loose and allowing the servo to rotate enough to touch spinning motor or whether this is entirely related to frame flex or a combination of both?

Haven't seen anyone with a 600L talk about frame flex and curious whether this is a common issue on both the 600pro and 600L and whether others with the 600L have reinforced their heli for frame flexing.

For the mean time have filed back burrs and applied CA glue to servo screws. will continue flying and pull out after about 30 or so flights to see if burs are being regrooved.

Any comments with your experiences appreciated.

Just wanted to close this thread off.
My servo contact with motor appears to have been related to servo being loose. Flew about 10 packs on the weekend and no contact yet.

I tighten up my servo grub screws and ca glued them to ensure they don't back out.

All good so far

Am i the only one with a 600L dominator with servo contact with 750mx?
Its back again and affects the front right servo when looking at from front of heli.

I marked my motor with black permanent marker and sure enough marker wore off on bottom half of motor (Aligning with servo height).

Please anyone with 600L Dominator observing this?

Installed the kde lower frame support along with 2 frame support posts either side of the main gear in the available frame lower holes.

I also pca Glued my servo self tapping screws

Also painted sides of motor to visually confirm if motor was coming into contact with servo any more after mods.

No more issues!

Happy am i

Its not just your servo being loose. I put my 600L together meticulously. I literally assembled it and took it apart 6 or 7 times just to practice making sure that everything lines up and is in place. I mean the motor mount itself. It was a very important step and really took the the time to get it right.

If you fly it hard enough... that huge 750mx will slightly touch the servos from the torque and frame flex. Even with the beefy motor mount.

Its not that the motor mount is defective. Its that the motor is just too close to the servos. Align put that motor in as an after thought. And it didn't quite fit for hard flying.

I flew it ragged and hard at 2500 rpm and it only grinded down the slight surface of servo and motor. Its not enough to cause a crash IMO. Its a cosmetic thing. But yea, wasn't too happy about that.

i have 600l dominator super combo with align g pro.
This problem for fortune i have not had.
But i do not do 3d, simple fly and i have 1900-2000 rpm max i suppose this problem it happens only if it goes much the helicopter.
But in the future i'll check always.
I have a bug with the g pro but this is ot.
If passed limit tail 99%, i opened a short topic, the moderator will accept it.
