Nightflyr has already answered your question; read it again!

You don't seem to understand quite well the concept of CPII and how it works; The GP790 is a head lock gyro and you've mentioned having a FBL heli converted from FB.

In order to better help you, please answer the questions Nightflyr has asked you.

Ok, lets try a different tack.....

Simple yes or no responses will do and when I'm done I'll make a statement.

1) Are you using or plan to reinstall a FBL controller Y / N?

2) Does it require a separate Rx to function Y / N?

The CPII main primary function is to add stabilizing control to the swash.
The only function it can offer to a HH tail gyro is to input a actual gain value when configured to the avionics computer and with the hand held programmer during setup to a specific Tx setup having only 6 channels available.
