Default Glacier batteries!

I had been meaning to try these batteries for a while after hearing alot of good reviews about them from real life pilots. No ads or magazine articles just other pilots impressed with the batts.

Anyways, picked up a few batteries for the 130x and some larger batteries for the 500. After 3 break in cycles on the icharger these batteries flew exceptional.

I have a half dozen of the nanotech batteries and these were right on par with them. I wouldn't say they were way more powerful because they both are very well performing batteries but they are worth picking up if you don't want to wait for a shipment from hobby king china. I actually had to adjust my tail gain slightly with the new batteries they were so peppy.

Haven't put more than one cycle on them yet but they may or may not wakeup even more but just thought I would share since alot of people don't know about the batteries. I run the normal batteries with a balance plug instead if the umx plug so I can use deans but they are available in both variations. Service is top notch as anyone who has purchased items from epbuddy can verify.

For $4-4.5 per battery and from a USA seller, what's not to love. I got like 9 of them

YES!
i have more coming too...i think some figured out how well they worked in the nano's and they have been sold out for some time! i have a lot of batteries and the glaciers are the best 130's i've seen in every aspect....

branmuffin i think i am talking myself into a 500x and not a 550x how are the glaciers work n for ya???? 550 batteries are so much more money and they will not work out for a goblin either. again, me talking myself into a 500 size...
last week for the first time in my 300.... they are insane...when i hit IU it almost seems like it can't be good for it! it hits so abrupt! even after i lowered IU1 and made a U curve at 80%...then IU2 at 100%....i've placed looking for another motor and esc on hold...

I just ordered 4 of them (the 450s), a micro-paraboard for them, and a 1kg scale (gonna start paying attention to weight) from epbuddy. And my 130X wont be here until Tuesday! Hopefully Ohio to Michigan shipping gets them here on Tuesday, too!

I still haven't tried the pulse for the 130. But would th glacier batteries be better than pulse for the 130? I like the pulse batteries for my E5. So much that I'm done buying nanotechs.

Not sure about pulse, they are probably pretty good batts but I think they are about double the price.
