Default 2nd time around in Central CT

Looking to get another Heli soon. I had an interest several years back and started out with some co-ax heli's then moved on to 4ch FP which ended in frustration. I think I just went too cheap. I ended up getting into racing 1/10 RC cars after that. The only flying I've done since is quads here and there. I seem to have a new found interest after looking into the 230s. I've read a lot of the posts here and watched a bunch of videos may be the perfect size for me. Due to recent back issues I seem to have plenty of time for Sim flying lately. Looking forward to pulling the trigger on a setup soon See ya on the threads or in the air!

Welcome to HF.

The 230s is a solid starter heli, and the SAFE features are nice. Just be aware that a crash will usually result in repairs, so plenty of sim time before you fly is good.

Another option is the XK k110, if you don't mind the trade-off of starting a little smaller to get a heli that is light enough to take no damage in most lawn crashes. It usually goes for a little over $100 with the Tx included, so it's quite a bit less expensive than the 230s as well.

But if you want something a little larger, and are putting in the sim time, the 230s is an excellent choice.

Thanks, I'll look into theXK k110. Just been trying to get as much info as possible through reviews, youtubube, Horizon Hobby videos etc. I got nervous when I didn't see my post initially, lol.
